At Beit Ariela, Tel Aviv Municipal Library, 25 Shaul Hamelech Street, Tel Aviv, Room 301
Moderator: Marianne Azizi, Reporter, co-chair of CCF-Israel, a UN civil society and Author of the book “Sour Milk and Stolen Honey”
The Israeli authorities oppress its own citizens, and in particular new immigrants are easy prey. We will hear testimonies and live stories. We will address the human rights abuses by the state of Israel against its own new citizens, and will reveal how some managed to escape from hell.
A special lecture by Marianne Azizi about complaint mechanisms in the United Nations and United States.
The illusion of immigrating to Israel is broken many times when the authorities of Israel start intervening in the lives of the Olim. Children are easily snatched away to locked child care facilities, fathers in divorce are charged with false violence and pedophilia, no exit orders render them prisoners of Israel, and the notorious Hotzta LaPoal is knocking on the doors and wreaking havoc.
